These organisations are partners with the Wellness Walk, coming together to lend their support and help ensure the success of the walk.
Each provides essential services, and works to improve the lives of those living with mental illness. You will be able to seek information and chat to each of these organisations on the day at the Wellness Festival.
Pioneer Clubhouse is a service of One Door Mental Health. Through Pioneer Clubhouse the Wellness Walk concept came to Australia and has been running successfully as a fundraiser, awareness raiser and advocacy event as part of Mental Health Month since 2012. Pioneer Clubhouse will be holding a sausage sizzle fundraiser, costs $3 which will go back into running the clubhouse.
Motorola Solutions: Motorola supports the event by kindly providing 26 radios and microphones at no cost.
Daniels Printing Solutions: Daniels Printing supports the event by kindly providing all printed material at no cost.
Noble Beverages: Noble Beverages supports the event by kindly providing Pureau water at no cost.
Intangible Goods: Intangible Goods is an initiative created by Mark Starmach
and Elizabeth Commandeur that aims to help normalise mental health. A play on
the world of junk food and vending machines, ten snack-sized products feed your
psyche, not your sweet tooth - made with mental health professionals. From bags
of 'Bravery' to bars of 'Belonging', this initiative gives people tangible
tools to discuss and deal with heavy topics like depression, anxiety,
work-related stress in a light, snack-sized way.
